The New Year is almost here! Keep BC in mind for year-end giving and 2016 support!

Dear friends of Breaking Chains,

As 2015 draws to a close, we pray that your family, like ours, is reflecting on another year of God’s faithfulness. With each year that passes, we are more and more humbled and grateful for the family God has given us in Honduras and the way in which he works so powerfully in our lives.

This year, Breaking Chains was strengthened through the addition of our dedicated and loving house parents, Oscar and Alba. We rejoiced as our church family grew closer together, and we witnessed 15 of our number give their lives to Christ through baptism. We cheered as our 13 private school children passed their respective grades, gaining confidence as well as knowledge along the way. And we rode the highs and lows of life with our teenagers/young adults as they sought to work hard in school, grow closer to God and battle through their circumstances to create a better future. (Click here to see snapshots from 2015).

As we look to 2016, we pray that through God’s grace and your support, we can continue to grow in love and service in Tegucigalpa. We have goals of growing and continuing our education program. We seek to help our teenagers continue to grow in faith and knowledge and find appropriate transitions, and we seek to grow strong leaders among our church family. We believe strongly in the importance of having faithful, indigenous support to sustain the ministry. That’s why this year we are also seeking to expand our Honduran staff through a new preacher, house parents and staff psychologist.

As you seek to bless others through your year-end giving, we ask that you keep Breaking Chains in mind. Your tax-deductible donations will be instrumental in supporting the ministry’s mission and continuing to create more opportunities like those mentioned above. The majority of the ministry’s daily operations are run on the monthly support of generous donors. In addition to considering a year-end donation, we ask that you also consider making Breaking Chains a part of your regular monthly giving. (Click here to view our 2016 Giving Guide).

If you wish to contribute, you may do so online through the “donate” page of our website (bchonduras.org). You may also send check donations to our U.S. mailing address at P.O. Box 20454 Oklahoma City, OK 73156.

We cannot say thank you enough for your continued support of Breaking Chains. We pray God’s richest blessings on you this holiday season, and we look forward to sharing another year of ministry with you.

Bendiciones,

The Breaking Chains Honduras Family
